Alor Setar..FLOODED!

This is news from my HomeTown not about Cape Town kay! Seriously, the flood in Aloq Setaq has worsened and the water level rose although the rain had stopped. Gosh..usually heard about people being evacuated and flood situation in the news but this time around AS was badly hit and my family is among those experiencing it. 

Photos credit to my brother in AS taken from his home at Taman Golf, gramps house and the neighbourhood area (Taman Malaysia, Taman Lumba Kuda, Pumpong).  Really sad to see AS in this mode... airport closure, road closures as well as disruption in electricity and water supply.

If yesterday the water level still under control, in other words still outside....

But today....

Its already in the house....

My bro & family have evacuated their home and stay at their other residence in Jitra while gramps now at my Uncle's guesthouse.  Alhamdulillah he's safe & sound! The Piano, the Organ, the furnitures & so many other stuff inside gramps house WHAT WILL HAPPEN??!!..If the water around is slowly rising then the things slowly sinking.  Oh dear!!! I don't want to think about it...*sob..sob*

Let's pray for their continues safety and the situation in AS will change for the better soonest.
