Its only Tuesday!! Looks like not only Monday has it 'Blues' huh...

Nway, movie has always been my fav mood booster provided its an awesome movie just like tonite's NN premiere screening..."BATTLESHIP"




Aha..yes! Rihanna in the movie as officer Raikes. However, she wasn't the main attraction for me to watch Battleship again (if you were to ask me) though her acting as a naval officer was really really good! Leftenan Alex Hopper?! Hmmm..that would be a double YESes, he's simply one super hot navy. Guyzz, guyzz trust me just go and watch this movie and judge it for yourself! I bet you'll definitely agree with me 101% huhu



As I always say, action movie ain't my thing, not the kind of genre that I would choose for my movie selection. Hey!I but in this case I don't care about the alien, the transformers looking robots or spaceship at all. Hansem Hopper, US Navy rocks!

We had a nice Korean Dinner at Dubu Dubu Seoul, Mid Valley...simply delish food!

Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards 2011.....

Usually for most companies the final event of the year will be a grand Annual Dinner or a Christmas & New Year's Eve Gala Dinner, you know...something glitter & glam to celebrate with the staff.   I had so much fond memories with annual dinner especially when I was with the Airlines, I had always been among those under 'early bird registration' category for the division or staff annual dinner..hahaha 'main reason: Dress Hunting' super duper luv that!.  Then when I joined the Yellow Telco I was appointed as one of the organising committee members to organise our company big year end party in 2008 (my last event before I left in Feb 2009) all I remember its a medieval theme but the previous year was still fresh in mind  "Wet n Wild Party 2007"  hell-yeah..that was really one awesome pawsome party! We had so many in-house parties, cocktail party, festive parties, macam-macam partylah with good food of coz.  But....those were the good old days and 'FUN' was once D'Yellow Telco's middle name ;-)

Nway, the point is I had been to so many events but it may not be as special as this one where 500 people or guests were gathered  in this Grand Ballroom and they're all bloggers from around Asia-Pacific Region; Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, China, HongKong, OZLand and Malaysia local bloggers of coz uols..fuyooo dasat :-) Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards or NAPBAS 2011 is what I'm talkin' about.  For info, the 1st NAPBAS-2009 was held in Singapore & this year 2011 brought to you by 'NuffnangMy' from Putrajaya, Malaysia....

It was a nite to remember though there were some hiccups *adatla tu bagi setiap majlis2 besar camni kan*  Kudos to Nuffies great team and a big Thank You for the lovely INVITE  guys! *click to read*   It was such a relief when my sista LoLa received the 2nd batch of NAPBAS invite, at least I didn't feel so awkward attending an award function alone without partner. Lucky us!!

Nuffnang Blog Awards, Here I Come.....

Awards function! First word that comes to mind is "GLAMAROUS"!! Nothing is more Glam than walking in style on....

"OMG..OMG I can't handle the fame,camera flash,autograph signing on a fan's shirt,smile & pose huhu"...Okay that's enough *wakey wakey & slap own face* Always get carried away when talking about a grand function to attend and now here comes the bloggers 'ultimate' event, the Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards 2011.  Imagine the coolness of meeting D'Favourite blogger the one that I've nominated & perhaps more.  Up close and personal with him/her/them especially the amazingly photo opt. Getting to know them LIVE in person after years reading their interesting blog posts.  This is it! A special event that unite local & foreign (Asia Pacific) bloggers by giving recognition for their effort & creativity. 

Even at a small get together or bonding session hosted by Nuffnang  we were like "hey, that's fourfeetnine rite".."look over there Xia Xue, oh wow she came all the way from Singapore".."I wanna take a picture with Redmummy"...next..next..next.  That's actually how we (fellow bloggers & of coz myself) normally re-act when we see the 'famous' bloggers at a function.  Not only celebrities have their fanbase even bloggers do ;-)

Other reason why I wanted to be one of the lucky guests to get an exclusive invite to NAPBAS 2011 is the grandeur of the venue, "Putrajaya Marriot Grand Ballroom" & yeay! this time around its going to be held in our beautiful country, Malaya though I'm considered a newbie in blogosphere but I did my homework and honestly, seeing the lovely photos of NAPBAS 2009 making me more excited. The sense of classy-ness continues...

The Ambiance absolutely would make my partner or best friend of the night a.k.a my 'camera' to work harder than before to capture the moment.  As usual, every details count from people to things around the event.  Having a perfect venue and great bloggers around would definitely spice up my last but not least reason to be there. So, IF only I have the opportunity to attend NAPBAS 2011 ( must always be POSH-itve), the thing that is always close to my heart and I bet most women do is to "Doll Myself Up".  Should I be simple & elegant?.. or should I try something bold & different?  I'll definitely add a bit of POSH-ness to the event.. woohoo;-)

Anyway, I actually have 'hundreds' reasons of wanting to be there on 16 December 2011, where 500 bloggers from around the Asia-Pacific region will flock to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the Nuffnang Asia-Pacific Blog Awards 2011 in Putrajaya Marriot.  The Awards aims to not only honour the region's best bloggers, but also to bring together blogger communities from across Asia Pacific.  The Nuffnang Asia-Pacific Blog Awards is brought to you by Volkswagen Malaysia and Putrajaya Marriot. 

Can feel the awesome vibes already....only by thinking about the Exculsive Invite entitlement.

Chatime with Nuffnangers & Churpers at Publika...

Yesterday was the busiest day of the week. Hmm...a bit different than the usual 'rest n relax' mode 24/7;-)

Just to share the 'so called' packed Saturday's schedule of mine:

Morning (as early as 8.30am) - Giant Kota Damansara, shopping BBQ items bla..bla..till 10:00am

10:45am - Kitchen Moment
Menu: Shepherds Pie, Bread n Butter Pudding for dessert. *potong memotong ingredients for pie 1st then later in the evening baru buat, so fresh from the oven* As for the dessert very easy & simple the prep would only take 15 mins or less, just push it into the oven then my sista lola to take charge.

1:45 pm - rushing to Publika, Solaris Dutamas for Nuffnang & Churp Churp Chatime! bonding session . This time around I brought my old friend/ex-colleague at Subang Golf Club (KGNS) to "Chatime" with me & fellow bloggers...

we were given RM20 voucher EACH including our guest/partner to buy food (foodcourt) & drinks (Chatime)

Yeah...this is she, Hooi Koon or I normally call her Ms. Teh

*haha sounds very formal rite, kinda  used to it la from KGNS  days*
Here, I just put HK as her initial kay ;-)

You can tell them your preferred amount of Sugar or Ice too..Cool rite!

Hazelnut Choc - Large (without pearl or jelly) mmm...1st time order still not used to the toppings variety ..

The FOOD selection....there're a number of stalls but for us muslims Lorong Seratus Tahun is the only HALAL outlet. Just a note, Eat Food Village at Publika is actually a Non-Halal Food Court...

Assam Laksa - RM8.90  a bit tasteless no where near Penang style of Assam Laksa...

this Wantan mee looks GOOD.....not from Lorong Seratus Tahun oops forgot to ask HK la ;-) 

had no choice but to go for nerdy look...*mata merah sebab pakai contact lens expired wakaka*

Chatime is a Bubble Tea franchise from Taiwan  .....

At least  now I know  what is it about this famous Chatime - Bubble Tea (Cha means Tea)...thanks to HK/Ms.Teh!!

The session ends at about 5pm after the group photo opt, headed home & next getting myself ready for the Home BBQ Raya.
