ASTRO b.yond IPTV Hollywood & Celebrities Night @ Solaris...

How was your Saturday Nite? mine was abso'bloody'lutely GREAT & FANTASTIC!! U wanna know why?! Coz I won a pair of invite from Nuffnang to attend the ASTRO b.yond IPTV Bloggers' party at Solaris, Mont Kiara. The theme for the night...."Dress up as Hollywood Celebrities" in other words dress like a star babeh!!!


*at 6:30pm...I could spot some "Celebs" at the entrance HaHa*


oops, same colour theme huh! @The Registration Desk... btw, thanks to my sista Lola for being my personal hairdresser "big bun on a short hair" ...yeay;-)

You guys gotta check out this ASTRO b.yond very first IPTV concept store at Solaris if you happen to be at the neighbourhood or just pay a visit one Saturday or Sunday morning with your family or friends. Not only enjoying the nice, cozy store which pleasing to the eyes of any walk-in customers *surely for me* plus you can also know more about ASTRO b.yond IPTV....

Muscat, Oman Part 2

Incase you guys were wondering about my previous post on the "Adventure" thingy and some might be thinking what in the world has got into my mind. Chillax its just a blog entry to win a pair of movie tickets to watch The Adventures of Tintin premiere screening next week. I guess lots of other nuffnangers have published their adventure stories with their beloved pet too...so, nothing wacko about it huh! ;-)

Now, this 'cat' is not a 'pet' okay, Muscat pronounce as "mas..cat" but not quite sure how's the Omani pronounce it exactly anyway, its the capital of OMAN.....

Like I said...."Sultan Qaboos" can be seen everywhere in the city ;-)

Bait Al-Zubair Museum

nice funky Zebras...

We were so happy to be inside the museum...at least 45mins in a relax & quiet air-conditioned room after a burning HOT walking around the Al-Alam Royal Palace compound on the earlier tour before this museum visit. Almost 50'C ...if anybody said Malaysia is VERY HOT..eermm you really don't know what is HOTall about babeh! *rasa macam bahang panas masuk ke dalam badan dan membakar kaki*

The Al-Alam Royal Palace...the official palace and the office of Sultan Qaboos. Oh btw, Sultan Qaboos is single and unmarried..*kisah benar okay*

All visitors/tourists only allowed to be at the gate of the Palace...the youngsters were busy taking their picture~ as a momento under the burning sun~ while I chose to stay in the van with the Omani tourist guides.

The surroundings....

Here comes the amazing & remarkable scenery surrounding the Palace....Al-Jalali & Al-Mirani Forts

These photos were taken in the evening just before sunset....kinda windy at that time but still can feel the heat.

You'll see watchguards/army at the entrance as well as at tower of this fort but they do not allow us to take pictures of any of them. One of the most important thing for tourists to remember when they are in Oman is to respect the elderly and also to always ask before you snap a photo of the OMANI.

Last but not least...we were brought to the 5 star Al-Bustan Palace Hotel which formerly only for the Sultan & his guests but now its open for public to stay.

It doesn't look so GRAND from the exterior...

But believe me as you entered, you'll be amazed with the luxury & classy interior deco of the 'Palace' Hotel...

If you noticed not many of my own photos in this entry or not even one in the previous Oman story! 2 simple reasons: firstly, it was a duty travel & secondlly after being exposed to 50'C temp outside hmmm...'sun burn' babehh~ better stay behind the camera.
